2006 Scarlet of Paris Pinot Noir - $10

Just as you can’t judge a book by its cover you also can’t judge a wine by it’s label. Some of the coolest, fanciest bottles can house crappy wine while a boring package may contain hidden treasure.
The 2006 Scarlet of Paris Pinot Noir fits into the latter category. While the mega-cheesy label sports a wine glass, a lady and four Eiffel Towers, the wine inside is pretty damn good (notice the nearly empty bottle).
We’re going to dub this an “Awesome Everyday Sipper.” This isn’t a wine you give as a gift or bust out to impress a first date. It is, however, a wine we would purchase by the case and continuously pour after a long day. The light body and simple, bright fruit of this wine begs you for another glass. Plus, it’s pretty much impossible to find a good Pinot Noir at this price.
Drink with anything from pasta to salad to frozen pizza.

I have not tasted the 2006 but I have bought up every bottle I could find of the 2005. it was as good as some of the expensive wines I had in France. Do you know where in France the wine is from? Where can I order or get a case of this wonderful find?
Sincerely,
Gail
Hey Gail,
Last I checked Whole Foods on River St in Cambridge had tons of this stuff. Plus, I think they have a sale going on right now.
