There aren’t many options for wine shops in the Financial District so Brix automatically wins a few points just for existing in this location. Like it’s sister store in the South End, this shop is classy with hip and chic interiors. They rock quality and unique wines sacrificing shelf space for a pleasant layout.

Aesthetically, Brix is a nice change from the grungy and dirty stores littered around Boston. Their staff also knows their small selection of wines inside and out. However, get ready to pay for these polished concrete floors, diverse selection and knowledgeable staff member. Their bottles are all a few bucks more than the other staple stores in town.
