Post Cocktail Sparklers at Fleming’s

After sampling the new Vinotini’s at Fleming’s my companion and I decided to dive into the two sparkling wine cocktails donning the list.

Romance: This drink literally looks and tastes like a blue lightsaber. Served in a tall and skinny Collins glass this is the drink that would make an already drunk MIT student freak out. With a Vinotini already kicked back my companion and I, deciding to be HUGE dorks, busted out our iPhone and had a lightsaber battle. Yeah, we’re that classy.

Royal Peach: This is basically a Bellini on steroids. I wish I knew how to make these back in high school, because this is a guaranteed prom-dress-remover.

While I didn’t expect to spend my evening sitting in a steakhouse (I haven’t eaten meat in 10 years) drinking electric blue drinks, I have to say, I had a great time. The drinks are large and very strong, making them worth the price tag, about $12 each. The homemade potato chips at the bar are also incredibly addictive, so it was difficult to leave.
