Hooray! Pomodoro in Brookline is my favorite restaurant - and Sam (pictured above) is one of my favorite bartenders - he's hilarious. I agree that the Brookline location is far more pleasant, spacious and comfortable - not to mention beautiful. Definitely worth a stop - if not for the wine, for the tiramisu!

I stopped in last night...and was very pleased with the selection of liquor, wine, sake, cider, and brews (many more microbrews and Trappists/Belgians than the typical neighborhood liquor store). Also, picked up a wonderful jar of whole-grain cranberry artisanal mustard (which was g-r-e-a-t on sourdough). The staff was extremely friendly and stressed that customer suggestions regarding products 'not carried' would receive serious consideration.

If you prefer a snobbier staff, then go elsewhere. As for me, I'll be returning (soon).

This is such a quote worthy blog. I'm copying these 2 sentences in my quote book:
1) it is really Mother Nature that makes wine, a winemaker simply supervises it.
2) if you can’t do it for the environment, do it for a great glass of wine!

Have a great adventure!
