Greetings! Apologies for my recent disappearance. All is well in London but the big WSET exam is Wednesday evening and I’m in cram mode (playing the wine game on the Berry Brother’s and Rudd website as much as possible and have more notes than I can possibly memorize in 48hrs…studying styles appear to remain study no styles matter what the topic or course!). More stories to come soon about ‘fair wine policies’ in London restaurants and shops, my case for Sherry, a fantastic Brunello Alex and I shared for his birthday, and weighing in on the updates to The Swan’s wine list. Speaking of which, I need to do a proper introduction to the glorious pub and staff at The Swan gastropub in West London. Speak soon! Kit
P.S. Revising the US of A today - anyone ever had New York bubbles? I’m intrigued, so let me know what you think as I might try to track a bottle down for a Champagne/Cava/ and NW Sparkles party.
