A Lesson for the Parents

One of my main goals in life is to try and get my dad away from drinking jugs of Fortissimo. It’s always fun to introduce my parents to new wines and show off my “skills.” (I use that term very loosely because they are still very young.) A prior visit home I taught them how to spin, sniff and sip. They finally got that technique down, although it still looks like they are swishing fluoride. Easter weekend I introduced them to Malbecs and Red Zinfandel. They are slowly beginning to see that it doesn’t need to come from a jug or a box to be cheap. If Tyler could successfully wean me off of two-buck chuck anything is possible. Rome wasn’t built in a day!
